Courtyard Charlotte Southpark Hotel, Charlotte

I had a decent stay overall at this hotel. The rooms were clean and had a comfortable bed, though the musty smell was a downside. The location is fantastic, especially for shopping, as it's close to SouthPark Mall and various restaurants. The service was acceptable, although I wish they had offered more with the amenities. Overall, it was good for the price, but improvements are definitely needed in some areas.

The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is great news for the future, but currently, it feels quite dated. The rooms were clean, and the staff, especially our housekeeper Jackie, were really accommodating. However, the experience was overshadowed by the manager's unprofessional behavior during our pool visit, leaving a sour taste. Overall, I would consider coming back if the rates are good once renovations are completed.
